After another record breaking event in 2009, the VMCC's Festival of 1000 Bikes returns to

Mallory Park on the weekend of 9-uth July.

Truly a festival covering all aspects of classic motorcycling the event will feature public road and race bike track sessions, the biggest line up in Europe of past masters' machines and star riders on track, pre '65 trials, historicgrass track racing, a historic sprint demo, more than fifty club stands, trade stands, an auto jumble, live bands, interviews and a real ale bar open all weekend.

Easy Wheelie, the guys with the machine that teaches you to wheelie, will be having the machine set up at the Farmyard Party for you to have a go on and see if you're a wheelie god in the making. And, best of all, while they normally charge between £10 and £15 a go, at the Farmyard it's free on the Saturday from nam to 6pm.

The Tippingfamily also own four wheeled military vehicles including Jeeps, a Hillman Tilley,a Dingo, and a Dodge weapons carrier owned by Peter's mother, whichshe still occasionally drives.

This year's Rock & Blues Custom Show runs from Thursday July 29th to Sunday August ist. It will focus on two main entertainment areas and the all new, huge Cross Piston Saloon Main Stage will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday with an array of outstanding musical performances from top live bands including Friday night's headliners, Magnum. The second stage, Platform 15, will have more top live musical entertainment and tattoo contests, bikini babe contests, a pin-up girl contest and more.

Also new for this year, there is a brand new look to the custom show. The Kustom Kulture Arenaopens Thursday evening and continues through until Saturday night. In the newarena will bea top class indoor two-day Custom Show display, showcasing someofthe UK's best custom motorcycles, trikes, scooters and hot rods,and also feat ures a sideshow of unusual vehicles of interest. The new look arena will also encapsulate the culture behind the world of customising. This area will also feature vehicle trade stands, tattoo booths and Kustom Kulture paraphernalia.
