Remounting

Remount the swingarm and rear shock absorber in the reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the following points:

• When remount the rear shock absorber and cushion lever, set the index line rearward.

• Tighten the cushion lever rod mounting nuts © and rear shock absorber lower mounting nut (t) to the specified torque.

[5 Cushion lever rod mounting nut ©:

78 N-m (7.8 kgf-m, 56.5 Ib-ft) Rear shock absorber lower mounting nut d): 50 N-m (5.0 kgf-m, 36.0 Ib-ft)

• Tighten the pivot shaft nut © to the specified torque. H Pivot shaft nut: 100 N-m (10.0 kgf-m, 72.5 Ib-ft)

• Tighten the cushion lever mounting nut ® to the specified torque.

[*] Cushion lever mounting nut: 78 N-m (7.8 kgf-m, 56.5 Ib-ft)

• Tighten the rear shock absorber upper mounting nut © to the specified torque.

[5 Rear shock absorber upper mounting nut: 50 N-m (5.0 kgf-m, 36.0 Ib-ft)

• Tighten the brake hose union bolt © to the specified torque. [5 Brake hose union bolt: 23 N m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 Ib-ft)

• Tighten the rear torque link nut ® to the specified torque. H Rear torque link nut: 35 Nm (3.5 kgf-m, 25.5 Ib-ft)
