They Say

Wilfried Peeters, Quick Step team manager

"Tom's our leader at the Tour, and we're hoping he can take a stage victory. He's almost 30 years old now, he's more confident in himself and relaxed these days, and he's already had a good year. I think he has good chances, especially in the first week.

"We're looking forward to the cobbles stage, but while Tom is a favourite, this stage is not Paris-Roubaix—it will be a lot more nervous, and there will be more riders at the finish.

"We're not thinking of the green jersey yet, but I think it will be clear after just a few days who is in it and who is not. We're going to look at the situation after stage three and see if Tom can win it."
